Precision dentures that can be secured to dental implants.
Over recent years there have been many advances in implant technology. With as little as two implants placed in the jawbone to replace a natural tooth root you can have firmly attached denture.
What are the benefits of Implant Retained Dentures?
- Regain the ability to chew and allow for improved nutrition which can have an effect on overall health

What is involved?
After determining suitability and the number of implants required, implants are placed into the jaw. This is usually day surgery and in most cases can be performed under a local anaesthetic. 3 months is a common healing time as after approval from your oral surgeon, construction of your new Implant Retained Denture can commence.
Does it hurt?
Many people are surprised when they undergo implant surgery that the pain is often less than they expected. Many have suggested that tooth extraction was more traumatic than having implants placed.
Cost is always a concern in our busy lives but due to changes in technology the costs have greatly reduced from when they first became available. There are also may options which have a bearing on the cost.
If you currently wear dentures, you should not have to go without your teeth.
Regular concerns we hear from our patients are… Am I too old for this treatment, will it be worth the expense for the years I have left? Only you can answer these questions.
The big question is: What is the cost for you not being able to wear dentures successfully?
We now understand that if we loose too much bone, there is a group of patients whose quality of life will be much less enjoyable due to not being able to control their dentures properly which can result in the loss self esteem.
